Worldwide measures are being taken to combat global warming. Greenhouse gas emissions must be reduced substantially. Automobility is a major contributor to this warming. We need to radically change the way we have to deal with mobility. Habits of traveling from A to B must be broken. Gaiyo wants to contribute to making European mobility sustainable.

Our users consciously and unconsciously contribute to reducing their greenhouse gas emissions.

Choose the cleaner option

Since our founding in 2013, we have been working to make our users’ travel habits more sustainable with the development of our smart travel assistants TimesUpp and Gaiyo. Already nearly 200,000 individuals have installed one of our apps in recent years and reduced their car usage. Our App appears to have a host of behavior-changing features that regularly prompt our users to choose a more environmentally friendly alternative.

Together we make it possible

Our company is actively working on its CO2 reduction internally as well as in the chain. The CO2 performance ladder is a standard to encourage companies to act in a CO2-conscious manner in their own operations and in the execution of projects. This mainly involves saving energy, using materials efficiently and using increasingly sustainable energy.

Gaiyo holds the highest CO2 certificate: LEVEL 5 ON THE CO2 PERFORMANCE LADDER.

It all starts with insight into existing CO2 emissions. We have developed an emissions inventory sheet that measures our emissions CO2 footprint and allows us to make this transparent to you.

From the A. Insights, the emission inventories, we as a company have formulated a number of objectives. With these we want to actively work to reduce our footprint.

Through this page on our website, we want to periodically inform you of our CO2 performance. We have also set up an internal communication structure in which we have defined our internal and external communication.
