Gaiyo has won an FD Gazellen Award for the second time in a row. The award is presented annually to the fastest growing companies in the Netherlands.
“This second FD Gazellen Award is great confirmation that we can also show healthy growth rates with our services to help people travel more sustainably,” said Lucien Groenhuijzen, CEO of Gaiyo.
Starting in 2018, the Financieele Dagblad will look not only at revenue growth, but also at profitability and workforce expansion. By including the latter two factors, the FD aims to create a more balanced score.
Sustainable mobility
At Innovactory, we believe that future mobility will be defined by global megatrends such as urbanization, pollution, congestion and connectivity. These trends will radically change the way we currently view mobility and personal mobility in particular. This is why we have developed TimesUpp. TimesUpp is a travel assistant that takes the traveler by the hand while performing the journey. Anticipates changes in real time, optimizes and informs. Our mission is that the use of our technology leads to a behavioral change in our users that not only helps the user, but also has a positive effect on traffic flow, emissions and safety in a region where that user travels.
Criteria FD Gazellen 2018
As of 2018, the ranking of the FD Gazellen list has changed. No longer is only revenue growth important, but now employee growth (measured in FTEs) and profitability are also taken into account. Employee growth is an indicator of a contribution to employment and profitability is an indicator of the extent to which a company adds value. Including three indicators – instead of one – gives the price a more balanced basis. As a result, more high-growth companies will be eligible for a bronze, silver and gold FD Gazellen Award (the top three within each category).
The receipt of the award was noted by the alderman of the municipality of Almere, where Innovactory is located, who personally congratulated the company.
