3. Are there any additional steps when changing from a business to a personal email address?
Yes. If your account is transferred from a business to a personal email address, Gaiyo always requests approval from your employer. This is necessary to ensure that the agreements regarding your mobility rights are correctly transferred.
4. Will my password also be changed?
No. Only your username (email address) will change. You can continue to log in with your existing password. If you want to reset it, you can do so via “Forgot your password?” in the Gaiyo Portal.
In short: always contact Gaiyo Customer Service when changing your email address. If you are changing from a business to a personal email address, approval from your employer is also required.
