Greenwheels cars are equipped with a fuel card in the glove compartment, which allows you to refuel for free in the Netherlands if you have at least ¼ tank of fuel left at the end of your trip. Follow these steps:
- Open the Gaiyo app and go to your active trip.
 - ↳ The app will display the PIN code for the fuel card.
 - Take the fuel card from the on-board computer or from the key/card holder in the glove compartment. All cars run on E10 gasoline, except for the Caddy van (B7 diesel).
 - Note the mileage in the app before refueling. This is required for the transaction.
 - Open the fuel cap: use the key provided by Greenwheels. Turn it half a turn to the left to release it.
 - Refueling:
- At an unmanned station: insert the fuel card and follow the instructions, including entering your PIN and mileage. Select ‘No’ for ‘replacement transport’ and fill up the tank.
 - At a manned station: refuel first, then pay inside with the card (including PIN and mileage).

 - Close the fuel cap and store the fuel card safely in the glove compartment or card/key holder.

Why refuel?
- Make sure there is at least ¼ tank left when you return the vehicle to avoid fines.
 - Refueling is included in your trip price, so it is free of charge via the fuel card.
