You can start your ride within the service area, but it is possible to continue riding outside the area – however, with restrictions:
- You must start your ride within the purple service area that you see in the Gaiyo app.
- Outside the area, you can pause, but not end or park.
- If you try to end the ride outside the area, you will receive an error message and will not be able to end the ride.
What if I end the ride outside the area anyway?
- Parking outside the area costs an additional €0.15 per minute.
- Not ending the ride? Then you won’t be able to end the ride in the app, and the provider may charge a relocation fee of €50 to €70, depending on the situation.
