Yes, you can. You can buy a train ticket for someone else, such as your partner, friend, or colleague, via Gaiyo. Please note that e-tickets are always personal – the name on the ticket must match the traveler’s ID.

How to change the name:

Before finalizing the ticket, click on the pencil icon on the screen where the ticket is displayed. There you can enter the first and last name of the traveler.

Make sure this name is correct, because without a matching ID, the ticket will not be valid.
