Almere, 1 August 2024 – We are proud to announce that Gaiyo has once again achieved ISO/IEC 27001 certification, this time in accordance with the brand‑new NEN‑EN‑ISO/IEC 27001:2023 standard. This renewed certification demonstrates that Gaiyo continues to meet the strictest international requirements for information security. For our customers it is vital proof that their data is in safe hands and that we operate continuously at the highest level of data protection.
Information security as a top priority
Information security is a top priority at Gaiyo—especially because we work daily with sensitive employee mobility data on behalf of our customers. Protecting this data is critical to the trust our clients place in us. ISO 27001 is the world‑leading standard for information security, setting stringent requirements to guarantee the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information. Gaiyo has been ISO 27001‑certified since 2020 and undergoes annual audits, with a full recertification every three years. Successfully transitioning to the 2023 edition confirms that we continually sharpen our security controls in line with the latest insights and regulations.
Successful and secure integration of Mobility Mixx
This year Gaiyo completed the integration of Mobility Mixx and Gaiyo into a single mobility platform—successfully and securely. Since acquiring Mobility Mixx in 2023 we have worked hard to merge all services and systems seamlessly, without compromising data security. All Mobility Mixx customers and their employees now travel safely via the integrated Gaiyo platform. This milestone shows that even during major organisational changes such as a platform integration, the protection of customer data at Gaiyo remains guaranteed. The renewed ISO certificate confirms that our information security meets the highest standards after this integration as well.
