1. Where can I find the trip planner?
You can find the trip planner directly on your dashboard in the Gaiyo App via the “Plan a trip” button. This allows you to easily plan your trip and, if available, purchase tickets directly.
2. How do I plan a trip step by step?
- Click on “Plan a trip” on your dashboard.
- Enter your departure location and destination.
- Choose whether you want to plan based on “Depart now” or a specific arrival time/departure time.
- Click on “Show trips”.
- View the list of different travel options.
- Select the option that suits you best.
- Choose one of the departure options shown.
- View the details of your trip.
- If tickets are available, a blue button labeled “View tickets” will appear at the bottom.
3. Can I buy a ticket right away?
Yes. If a ticket is available for your chosen trip, you can purchase it immediately by clicking the “View tickets” button.
- After purchase, tickets are automatically saved in the app under “Tickets & Reservations.”
4. What if I don’t see a ticket?
Some trips or parts of a trip are informational (e.g., walking or cycling) and do not require a ticket. In that case, the “View tickets” button will not appear.
In short: with the “Plan a trip” button, you can easily plan your trip in the Gaiyo App, see different options, and, if available, purchase tickets immediately and save them in Tickets & Reservations.
